Thursday, June 7
3pm: Rainbow Flag Raising
Come join dignitaries, LGBTQ2S+ community members, and allies for the annual raising of the Rainbow Flag to mark the beginning of this year’s Edmonton Pride Festival. Located on the north side of 103A Ave between 99 and 100 St.
Saturday, June 9
11am: Pride Parade
This year’s Pride Parade promises to show the FULL SPECTRUM of the LGBTQ2S+ community. All are welcome, we encourage you to wear your pride, and arrive early to get a good spot. We will be handing out Pride gear along the route prior to the parade for a small donation.
The Pride Pass Viewing Area provides special access to those with a Pride Pass. There is bleacher seating and it is the only place along the parade route that is licensed, allowing you to enjoy a cool beverage while you enjoy the best view of the parade!
We encourage you to use transit as parking is limited in the area. The High Level Streetcar will be operating before and after the parade, there are many places to park your bicycles, and ETS will be running extra buses to account for extra travellers.
11am – 6pm: Pride in the Park (Strathcona Park / End of Steel Park)
After the last parade entries have passed by you, follow them to Pride In The Park! There will be live entertainment, exhibitors, vendors, food trucks, child and youth activities, and some tremendous resources for and about the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Pride In The Park is a great way to meet friends new and old, celebrate the Pride in our community, and have a great time.
If you come by car, be aware that street parking in the neighbourhood is unavailable but there are 20 parking lots in the area. Arrive early, as they fill up quickly. The best way to get to Pride In The Park is transit. The High Level Streetcar and ETS buses have stops just a few blocks away from End of Steel Park.
Keeping this event accessible to all is our highest priority. There is no entry fee, though if you are able, we will be accepting donations at the entrance to the Park. Thank you in advance for your support of our events!

11am – 3pm: One Pride BBQ – CANCELLED
Unfortunately due to weather this event has been cancelled.
$5 General Admission (2 for 1 with your Pride Pass)
Edmonton Pride began 38 years ago with a BBQ and that’s not going to end anytime soon. Join us for our annual family BBQ. Rain or shine, the BBQ will be simmering and the ever popular Chicken John Petting Zoo will be back again this year.
We would especially like to extend this invitation to the Strathcona community to come meet the festival that takes over their community every year.
This is everyone’s chance to meet the EPFS Board of Directors and celebrate another successful first weekend of Edmonton Pride.
Friday, June 15
7pm: Edmonton Pride Awards
Join us as we celebrate and acknowledge the trailblazers and changemakers of the LGBTQ2S+ community in Edmonton. The Rainbow Art Gallery will be back once again to showcase Alberta queer artists, and several will have pieces for sale at the event. Come for cocktails and have a look at all the artists’ amazing work, then join us for the awards event of the season. Tickets available now.
