Eat North is very happy to announce that it will be bringing its unique concept Drags Benny --a lively pop-up drag brunch in support of Canadian Pride initiatives-- to Edmonton next month. The Pride Parade is an annual event that is not to be missed! Pull out your most colourful attire from your closet and show your pride! This event is for all ages. Be sure to arrive early to get a great spot.
Immediately following the parade be sure to come visit the Pride in the Park Festival in Strathcona Park. We have live entertainment, exhibitors, vendors, food trucks, child and youth activities, as well as tremendous resources for the LGBTQ2S+ community. Pride in the Park is a great place to meet new friends and celebrate diversity.

In 2019, the Pride Run will move to a new venue at RE/MAX Field featuring an accessible walk and a 5 KM run/walk. Registration starts at just $10 and the Pride Run offers subsidized registration for youth, seniors, groups, and for those that are unable to afford it. A free community barbeque, hosted by Team Edmonton, takes place after the race. Free to the public. June 29th, 7:30 pm. Robertson-Wesley United Church. Melisa Guilbeault will be performing music on a transgender human rights theme. Melisa is a classically trained student, performing as a biological countertenor, in the mezzo-soprano range. She identifies as transgender and intersex, and has chosen music from Dowland, Purcell, Handel, Schubert, Schumann, Mahler, and many other contemporary composers in her debut performance. Linda Steinbring is assisting piano artist.
